Hi
I'm finding that if I create a Project Server workflow (site workflow) in SharePoint Designer 2013, I can build the workflow and create conditions.
However some of the variables, in statements such as:
"If Variable: Outcome11 equals Approved"
end up having Outcome11 removed, and it's back to being"
"If value equals value".
This happens when I save then open the workflow up again.
The stages and other commands stay without problem.
Has anyone seen this before?

I have created a leave form in InfoPath and uploaded it to our SharePoint,
My objective is to have employees be able to fill it out when it is submitted, workflows behind it send to my bosses for approval via email, once it is approved I am wanting the leave form to be able to integrate with our leave calendar. I am hoping you can
do this using workflows but am not sure how. Can someone please help? I cannot seem to find anything regarding my issue?

I've a sharepoint wiki page with SharePoint EmbeddedFormField control.. when I try to edit the page,it shows up an error message saying Type EmbeddedFormField does not have a public property named 'div' .But I dint change anything in the EmbeddedFormField control part..
Then I placed all the cntent in EmbeddedFormField in content property of it, then it dint show up any error message but earlier when I opn it,a popup msg asking whether to show all content or not would appear at the bottom of the page..now it's not asking .. n so the respective content is not displayed...

I created custom webpart & I have retrived the record from custom list in DataTable and binded to SPGridView. In this custom list we have People and Group column. I am stuck here to bind the People Editor in SPGridview when we clieck the edit option. Can you suggest me how I can bind the values of object datasource to People Editor in SPGridview.

Is it possible, in SPD, for me to create a workflow which the user can run on multiple documents, which will prompt the user for a value, then apply that value to a field in the selected records?
The ideal situation would be that the user can simply select multiple list items, start a workflow, add an ID and then that ID will be added to a field in all those records, so that a further workflow can then run automatically on them.
Can anyone advise me on the best approach I can take to this?

When we insert a people picker in Info Path 2013 form and publish the form in
Share Point 2013, when we click on the Browser Button, it doesn't open in a window.
Enabling ribbon is solving the issue. But we don't need Ribbon. Please suggest permanent solution.

i have created a sitecollection in sharepoint 2010 and now upgraded to sharepoint 2013 .
in sharepoint 2010 it shows 2 level dynamic flyout menus but in sharepoint 2013 it shows only one level flyout menus. could not understand what to do . please help me .
situation is bellow
i have root sitecollection say TestRoot bellow it i have a variation for two language en and hi
for english and hindi respectively . these varriations are created as subsites.
i want two show all subsites bellow en as top navigation for all thing in en and similarly for hi
these settings was working fine in sharepoint 2010 . but in sharepoint 2013 i can not see 2 level flyouts
please help me .

Hi All, I am new to this forum (& using InfoPath with Sharepoint!) so please bear with me! :)
I have an InfoPath form set up and I've linked it to Sharepoint list 'A'. As forms are submitted to list 'A', each item is assigned an ID number in the list. I have a second Sharepoint list 'B' which has a column called "Related Report No." - basically this column looks up the ID numbers available in Sharepoint list 'A' and allows the user to select the related item ID number from list 'A'.
What I'm looking for is a way to add a button or hyperlink on my InfoPath form (in list 'A') which when clicked, brings up all items in Sharepoint list 'B' when the number in the "Related Report No" column exactly matches the ID number of the item in Sharepoint list 'A'.
I've tried all sorts of rules, filters, data connections, views etc but just can't get it right! I'm pretty sure it can be done by creating a Sharepoint view for each item ID number but this isn't really appropriate for my need and would be a nightmare as the number of records increases!!
Does anyone know if this is possible? If so, could you please explain how?! Please let me know if you need any more information to be able to help me!

I am using SharePoint Online (2013 version) and SharePoint Designer 2013. I have tried to create a document library using "Create Item in List" action. A word document is created after the workflow executes, but the created document is corrupt. It doesn't open in Word Web App. When I open it using Word, it shows a blank page.
I have some library columns inserted as quickparts in the template (tried both docx and dotx), but none of that appears in the document created by the workflow.
Has anyone tried this successfully? Please share your experiences.

While trying to create new form for infopath form library from SharePoint 2013, i got error saying that the software required is not installated. Then i installed InfoPath 2013, this fixed the issue.
Is InfoPath 2010 still compatible with SharePoint 2013 ?

I have created a custom approval workflow. Workflow create a Task in Tasks List. Now suppose A task is assign to user1.
User2 should not able to edit\approve\reject the item.
How to give item level permission using SharePoint designer in SharePoint 2013 workflow.
SharePoint 2013 workflow doesn't have impersonation steps also.
Please suggest how to give permission on task list based on assigned To field.

To top level site of site collection I have created master page.
If I creates any sub site the custom top level site master page does not apply to sub site in SharePoint
Foundation 2013.
So how do I apply top level sites master page to all it's sub sites?

I have a task list where anyone can post a suggestion for a blog. There is a string field for the status.
I have a library where the author can upload the blog article when ready to send for review. Uploading the document triggers the workflow to start. This document is reviewed twice and when the author is satisfied it will go for translation and then for web publication.
All of this is worked out in the workflow except for one thing: I would like to update the task list at each stage of the process to the current status. Since it can all be done programmatically, I don't need to use a "choice" field. The string field would be just fine. One of the things I saw in my research is that "choice" fields won't update.
I have put a lookup field in the blog article library to correspond with the title in the task list to create a relationship.
First of all, is it possible to do to update a task from a document library, or am I just spitting in the wind? If so, why doesn't it work?
