The security validation for this form is invalid. on InfoPath 2010 & Sharepoint 2010

Hi,

I have done an Infopath 2010 form with around 80 fields. I published to a Sharepoint Site, so people can access. From time to time I get the following error message:

when I check the correlation token I get this:

Exception occurred during request processing. (User: , Form Name: myform, IP: , Request: https://onlineservices.dwf.co.uk/rsa/_layouts/FormServer.aspx?XmlLocation=/xxx/myform/n50024-030286.xml&ClientInstalled=false&Source=https://xxxx.com/myform/Forms/AllItems.aspx&DefaultItemOpen=1, Form ID: urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:infopath:myform:-myXSD-2011-11-07T08-05-20, Type: InfoPathLocalizedException, Exception Message: The security validation for this form is invalid.)

I have been trying everything, including the famous:

  1. Formdigest (It not works for me)
  2. Security Validation (It works perfectly

My Sharepoint farm is running the July 2013 SP, so everything seems to be fine.

I am quite desperate with this issue because I can't find a pattern, any advice will be more than welcome.

BTW: The farm is under a HTTPS domain if that helps.

How to associate the "User Tasks" webpart with the Workflow Tasks list?

I would like to use the "User Tasks" web part to present an individualized queue to each user when they log into our workflow site. However, the webpart only appears to populate my tasks when I use the built-in "Tasks", and not when I use the "Workflow Tasks" list I set up when I created my workflows with Designer 2013. 

Is there a way to somehow modify the User Tasks web part or create another such web part that will pull the tasks for the current user from a different task list?

i don't want to limit the blog posts. i want to limit the displayed text. it should only show a few lines of the post.

RSS Viewer Web part does not show feeds when signed in to the site in SharePoint 2013

I am trying to show the rss feed using the rss viewer web part. When I am not signed in to the site, it displays the feeds correctly, but when I sign in to the site, it just shows the progress/loading bar continuously without any error.

Attach File button only shows blank page

Hello,

we have set up a Sharepoint 2013 server and are currently working on an internal ticket system. For this, we have added a List library to our Sharepoint Site. When adding new items to this library, the "Attach File" button does not work. Instead it only shows a blank webpage. Has anyone encountered a similar issue before? The advanced library settings allow attachments, so this is not the cause of this problem. The user account has Administrator rights, we have tried different browsers with different Security Settings. No luck so far...

My xsl file is not working in SharePoint 2013. What's going on?

I wrote a list template and use a xsl file for rendering the list view. The xsl file has some customization for the view's style and has some xsl template for the computed field of my list template.

All these things work fine in SP2010 until I try the same things in SharePoint 2013.

It looks like the SharePoint just ignored my customization, but it read my xsl file indeed. I even tried to modify the SharePoint's own xsl file(main.xsl, fldtypes.xsl ...), but no luck. The interesting thing is if I made the xsl to be a invalid xml file the SharePoint will give me an error.

So, it looks like the SharePoint reads the xsl file and parse it but never use it.

Does any one have the same situation with me? Please give me some suggestions.

I want to know wehther i can customize the appearnce of callout control . I want to change the abckground color of call out control

I already checked http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn135236.aspx but it is not mentioned about height and color

SharePoint info path form attachment file name should not contain special character.

Hi Friends,

I have SharePoint list with input browser based Info path form, In form I have file attachment control.

As I am going to attach file with file name contain case sensitive character like(!@#$%^&*)

It gives me below error at time of submit.

In this case I want to give some user friendly Error message.

After we say ok Item will get added in list without attachment, On submit button there is submit data connection.

So please suggest me How to implement it.

hello everyone, 

I want to apply a validation for my columns which are date time columns. 

such as; 

<SharePoint:DateTimeField FieldName="startdate" runat="server"></SharePoint:DateTimeField>
<SharePoint:DateTimeField FieldName="enddate" runat="server"></SharePoint:DateTimeField>

I want to control the dates ;

for ex ;startdate >enddate should give me an error. How can I apply on this?

How do I apply conditional formatting using SharePoint Designer 2013?

I'm attempting to apply Conditional Formatting to a list view web part via SharePoint Designer 2013, and I can't seem to find the option to do so.

I've a horrible feeling I'm just being daft, but here's what I've done so far:

- Created a new page (I've tried both web part and wiki)
- Added a list "App part" and saved the page
- Checked-out and opened the page via Designer
- Clicked the "Edit file" option
- Selected the XsltListViewWebPart tag

So far I can't find any options to add it. If I open the Conditional Formatting pane via the View menu it tells me the following:

> To use conditional formatting, select an HTML tag, data value, or
> range of text, and then click Create to specify formatting options.

I've tried selecting the web part tags in all manner of combinations with no luck. In previous version I would have simply selected the previewed data rows in the now-absent Preview pane.

Am I missing something?

branding - design package or theme

I'm new to the entire branding/theming process in sharepoint, I normally design and build the app. (I stay away from the UI stuff)

With that said, I'm in the process of building a SharePoint 2013 site from start to finish and I want create a new theme for it. I have several HTML files, MasterPage and a CSS file that I have from a asp.net web app. I want my site to look nothing like sharepoint to my end users. So my question is, how can I covert my current HTML files and my master page, and CSS files, into a Sharepoint 2013 theme so I can use throughout my site?

I need help, when I have to run the dashboard designer from central administration on sharepoint 2013 with my administrator account, and selected the refresh option, or try it to select other option, always send me, the next message:An unexpected system error has occurred. Additional details have been logged for your administrator.
I do not know what is the problem, somebody know what is the error or the problem?

Sharepoint 2013 Simple List Item Approval process

I am trying to work out how, in SP 2013 Designer to get a very simple approval process to work and I am not having any luck.

I have a form that adds a list item for requesting the use of our corporate credit card.

Steps:

1) Fill out form with required info (one field is your manager)

2) Email gets sent to manager (noted on the form) to approve or reject the request

3) If Managers approves request > User gets email that it was approved with directions. If manager rejects request > user gets email that the request was rejected with different directions.

4) End workflow.

This seems so simple, but I am having such a hard time with the new interface. Please help.

Workflow question using SharePoint Designer 2010

I am trying to build a workflow for SharePoint 2010 in SharePoint Designer 2010.

I want the workflow to recognise any documents in a library that reach version 3.0 for example.

Then to COPY these documents to another library.

Then DELETE the documents from first Library.

So far I have something that looks like this but its not really working.. am I looking to build a List workflow? a Site workflow? or what?

1: If DocumentLibrary1:Version equals  3.0

2:      Copy Item in DocumentLibrary1 to DocumentLibrary2

3:      then Delete item in DocumentLibrary1

Starting from line 2, everything works. It is the first line I'm not sure is correct.

Also last really stupid question... How do you make the workflow automaticlly working? At the moment I click the down arrow on the file and start the workflow that way. Is it even possible?

Tag Properties missing in SharePoint Designer 2013

In SP Designer 2010 I could see a list of tag properties in the right hand side tab. For example if I place the cursor on a tag with <PublishingWebControls:RichHtmlField ..../> in SP Designer 2010 I get a massive list of tag properties that I can set to true or false etc, in SP Designer 2013 the tag properties pane is completely empty!

Is this just a problem with my installation of SP Designer 2013 or is it a bug that exists in SP Designer 2013?

Hi all

i have encountered a problem with creating a workflow with the SharePoint design 2013

when i tried to create a test workflow to see how it works  and have saved it and published it , it sent out  E-mails to which i have specified to send it , but not one E-mail , it sent 1254 emails to me and to the person i have specified it to go to.

Luckily he thought it was a prank as i put in the mail , before i sent it   "Don't stress , this is a test" lol

can anyone please help out hereon why it did it , please guide me on doing it PROPERLY

I have a question about InfoPath 2010 and SharePoint 2013 security and how to implement it.

I have a forum created in InfoPath that will collect employee data and operate on SharePoint. It's a yearly evaluation form.

Privacy concerns: I don't want any employees to be able to open other employees forms. The employee and their supervisor should be the only ones with access to their specific form.

SharePoint integration concerns: I want for basic data, such as the employee's name or employee number, to be taken from their SharePoint user data and pre-populating the form when they open it.

I'm currently working in SharePoint Designer to create a WorkFlow that will meet these needs, but I'm unsure how. Any advice?
